In maths this week year 5 learnt rules and patterns that would help us with the trickier times tables. This meant that we could learn the 17 times table. The lady on the video we watched used a counting stick and number cards to teach other teachers the method. She was almost as good a teacher as Mrs Barrett! After we had learnt the rules we took part in an associated knowledge challenge to check we had listened.
