In our art lessons over the last few weeks Class China have been introduced to artist Esther Mahlangu and learnt about African art. They learnt about Ndebele culture and created their own Esther Mahlangu-inspired art, firstly by exploring colour and shape in their sketch books and then by transferring their ideas onto a cardboard “house”.
