What a fabulous week Class Owl have had. On Monday afternoon, in small groups, the children went into the copse to get a 'feel' for the woodland habitat they were creating in class. On Tuesday Year 2 continued their cricket experience with Callum and Jack from Denby Dale Cricket Club, whilst Year 1 dough discoed!
Then on Wednesday we filled the class Reward Jar with the last few sweets to achieve our well earned reward day. So Thursday afternoon was good fun, playing with our friends with our toys and games. Just look at us having a good time. That's not forgetting Year 1 peeling, chopping, tearing, pouring and stirring ingredients to make a delicious fruity jelly to take home. We also took part in a spiritual experience on a journey of understanding the parable of 'The Good Samaritan' with Hand to Mouth in the gym on Thursday too.
